so I can get some work done! :D
Tomorrow is a day off of work.
So......I now publicly resolve to:
1. Work 1 hour in my bedroom organizing.
2. Work 2 hours outside gardenizing
3. Work 1 hour (at least) in the basement organizing.
and
4. Cook something that has yellow squash in it for dinner.
Hmmm...I should freeze more tomatoes, mail some stuff, and do some work with my photographs too.
Yeah. We shall see, shall we not??? ;D
G'd afternooner.
Holy shit on a crisp ritz cracker!!! I have had a hell of a time getting into and editing my email and password and everything on the goddam flickr website. BITE MY ASS FLICKR!!!! And I FINALLY get into Lord Mariser's photo stream (ah, the cooling refreshing babbling photo stream) and I get THIS message....

My neighbor is rifle target shooting so I have one dog pooping her pants here. My internet keeps cutting off. And my mother and brother outlaws are coming over in 45 minutes. I guess I should take a shower.

- Bread and Tulips (really sweet Italian movie with Bruno Ganz who was in Wings of Desire.)
- Red Firecracker, Green Firecracker (Chinese period piece bout a guy who woes a girl who owns a fireworks factory.)
- The Birds (I’d never seen it before.)
Sorry for the serious lack of writing in recent days. Very busy fellow right now. Some things simply demand proliferation, though, and this happens to be one of those things.
I got this from here, where Things Worth Looking At are more common than not. In fact, come to think of it, I believe that might have been where I found the other awesome Dark Knight photo-manipulation I posted a few days ago.
yesterday we took the day off from working and celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. It was a very pleasant and much-needed mid-week break from our current, very busy-bee days!
Our lives are kinda harried right now in the start-up phase of our business, and no one understands what we're doing or that we haven't got a lot of time to do much of anything else (which is sometimes frustrating). But, I can understand that if you've never tried to start a business, how could you really know? I think, initially, people think it's easy and you have more time because you're at home. That could be true much later on after the business is up and running, but, it is not true when you're building the business. The key, in the long-term, is for our lives to have more flexibility and to not have to answer to some idiotic lazy-ass boss. Anyway, it is both a challenging time and exciting time, for us, working at home and working together as home-business entrepreneurs.
Yesterday we spent the afternoon at the Morton Arboretum here in Chicago. The weather was perfect and, even though the summer is winding down, we still got to view a number of lovely flowers and greenery. I particularly liked the garden maze. But the tree sanctuary itself is far too big to see in a day unless, you get there when they open. This gives us an excuse to keep going back ;)
So, a business start-up phase is hard work and risky, but there is nothing I enjoy more than being Dave's business partner and, hangin' out too. We're a Bozo duo, no doubt. Though, he is more daredevil, and I am more clown. Below, is a handful of photos from yesterday. I hope my rants aren't being missed too much and I hope everyone is looking forward to fall!
The New England Aquarium had a delicious exhibit of jellies. Jelly fishes, that is.
I got some exquisite videos of the blobbular darlings, and I hope my connection allows me to upload them for your viewingk pleasures.
Alas. Only one download worked this time. I'll try again later. You must see the moon jellies and the incredibly darling "Blue Blubbers" next time. Until then.
